Why It Matters?
How It Works?
Since the release of Google’s Core Web Vitals Metrics in 2020, site speed has become much more complex than a speed test of a homepage. With increased emphasis placed on website speed, owners need to ensure that their website is running as efficiently as possible.
One way we do this is by actively monitoring various aspects of site speed. Actions such as performing regular website audits, optimising media files for faster loading times, and implementing caching tools can all help to boost your website’s speed and improve your users’ overall experience.
Not sure if Web Design Southampton can help you? Just have a look at our previous client BrandArt’s website speed before and after we started working with them.
Here are the GTmetrix results. We managed to reduced the overall loading time from 6.8s to 0.8s, improving performance from 77% (C) to 99% (A), as well as reducing other factors such as LCP and TBT.
