Every company wants to have a website with a great WordPress web design that creates a good first impression on visitors, prospects, and current clients. Many consumers’ first interaction with a business is often online–and through its website, no less–so it’s critical to capitalise on this chance.
If you’re reading this, you’ve either developed or are about to construct your company’s website with WordPress. That is a wise choice, given that it is the world’s leading content management system and there are plenty of resources available for WordPress Web Design.

But you’re also here because you’re curious about if there is a winning recipe for creating a WordPress website.

You’ll need the following WordPress web design elements:

1. Branding

First things first: before you build a website, you need a brand. That said, your brand isn’t just a logo, it’s everything that makes you who you are.
If you already have a logo, great. But do you have a colour palette? Do you have a font? If you don’t, it’s time to establish your brand’s look and feel.
So, start by determining which colours and fonts best represent your business. Then, apply those visual elements to your website (and business cards, and all the other marketing materials you carry).

2. Easy to Use & Navigate

The last thing you want is for your visitors to get frustrated by having to decipher how to find their way around the site. There should be a clear path for visitors to get to the information they are looking for and to complete the action they came to your site to accomplish.

3. Social Media Integration

One of the best ways to build trust and win over new customers is to offer social sharing buttons on your website so people can easily share your products and services with their friends and followers.
On your social media profiles, ensure you have added your website in your bio. What’s more, you can share your new blog posts or services on social media.

4. Load Time

The last thing you want is for your site to take forever to load. If it does, visitors will leave and never return.
The truth is, fast load times matter. According to research conducted by Google, a one-second delay in page response can cause a 7% reduction in conversions.
A good rule of thumb is to keep your site’s load time under four to five seconds.

5. Call to Action

What’s the goal of your website? Is it for educating your visitors? Or to get them to take action? Or both? Whatever it is, make sure your visitors know what action you want them to take. For instance, you may want them to subscribe to your newsletter or buy a product. Whatever the action is, make it clear.

6. Clear & Concise Copy

Your website should tell a story to your prospects and customers and should not be filled with corporate mumbo-jumbo. One of the best ways to get your point across is to write clear, concise copy.
For example, if you’re trying to sell a product, spell out the major benefits the product will provide to you customers and stay off the rhetorics.

7. Have a Newsletter

Email newsletter is an excellent strategy to capture and retain leads. You can reach your readers directly, have a niche audience and advertise to them with a high chance of conversions. And with the aid of your contact forms and pop-ups, you can rapidly accomplish this in WordPress.
Just make sure you just ask for what you need (email address, for example) and don’t abuse the privilege of reaching out. Visitors have entrusted you with delivering relevant and valuable information directly to their email via this route.

Final Thoughts

If you want to give your website a solid start, incorporate these elements into your WordPress web design. They will not only provide your website with a professional and polished appearance, but they will also help it perform better in search and enhance conversions with those who visit it.
